Donations

Coast Capital Compensation Watch was created by member Phil Embley to restore member control over Board of Director pay. While Phil has now made this happen, there is still much more to be done at Coast Capital Savings and we could use your help.

If you like what Phil has already accomplished and would like to see more done to restore member control to Coast Capital Savings, please help by donating to the cause. Every penny received will be spent by Phil to make Coast Capital Savings better and restore Coast Capital back to the principles of being a Credit Union. Any contribution to the cause is greatly appreciated as it shows us that members care about this issue and want more done to improve member control over the Board of Directors and over your credit union. To donate, please click on the Donate button below.

To date, Phil has spent his own money on advertising, pamphlets, cards, lawyers, and website development. Phil is not using any donated money to pay these expenses. He has paid those expenses himself already. Any money donated will be used to cover the next steps in making Coast Capital and its board more answerable to the members and more democratic. Phil has a plan for next steps and every penny of donated money will be used to help fund future activities to make Coast Capital Savings even better.

Thanks for your support!

    • Phil does have a break down of expenses but I will leave it to him whether he wants to make the details public. I can tell you that so far he has spent about $25000 of his own money on advertising, pamphlets, cards, lawyers, and website development. None of the donated money will be used to cover these previous expenses. All donated money will be used for next steps. Phil has a plan for next steps and any donated money will go to similar activities as listed above. I will also ask him if he wants to publish his plan going forward once he is ready.
